Free Developmental Screening: Calgary
Monarch House is pleased to offer free developmental screening clinics. This monthly clinic is a free of charge, drop-in service for parents to address questions and/or concerns regarding their child’s development.
These clinics provide a brief 15-minute consultation on your child’s speech and language skills, motor skills, problem-solving skills and personal/social skills. The clinic is run by a qualified team of professionals, including behaviour analysts, speech-language pathologists, and occupational therapists.
The results of screening are discussed with parents and are meant to indicate which areas are following typical development and which areas should be monitored more closely or require further assessment. The aim is to either support or refute your concerns and advise if a formal assessment is required.
Open to children ages 1 to 5.5 years old. No Referrals needed.
